I Launched My Homepage — Consolidating Scattered Information into One Place

Nice to Meet You

Honestly, I’ve been wanting a place to call “home” online for a long time.

My information was scattered everywhere — Qiita for tech articles, Wantedly for career, GitHub for code, my own apps off in another corner. Each one held a slice of me, but no single place showed the whole shape.

So I built one. This is it.

I’m Teppei Suyama. By day I work as a full-time SES engineer, by night and weekend I keep building things on my own.

Why I Built This Homepage

I’ve spent 5 years in IT — Programmer, then SE, then Project Leader. Along the way I found my own inefficiencies and pitched fixes: 90% reduction in regression testing, 60% reduction in overtime, a full RPA automation worth 40 person-hours a month.

Useful numbers. The problem is, they only existed inside the company.

I wanted somewhere people outside that bubble could look and think, “I’d like to work with this person.” That impulse — equal parts pride and frustration — is what finally tipped me into building this.

What I Want to Achieve

1. Help Clients and Recruiters Get to Know Me

Skills, certs, career history — those are the objective facts. But I’ve also written down my philosophy, my dreams, my guiding principles.

A resume tells you what someone has done. I wanted a place that also hints at who that someone actually is.

2. Showcase My Side Projects

Two apps live here right now:

  • YumeHashi — Breaks dreams into goals, goals into daily action. Flutter / Dart.
  • Defrago — Defragments mental clutter so you can focus on what matters. Python / FastAPI.

Both built with AI-driven development (Claude Code). YumeHashi: 3 weeks from zero Flutter experience. Defrago: 2 weeks.

3. Share Technical Knowledge Through Blogging

I’ve already published 211+ technical articles on Qiita. This blog leans into the angles Qiita doesn’t quite fit:

  • Retrospectives on side projects
  • Real numbers from AI-driven development
  • Career reflections, the messy human kind
  • Project management lessons
  • Reading notes, daily observations

”Simplicity That Gets You to the Goal Fastest”

That’s the design philosophy behind everything here — and behind the apps too.

  • Minimal navigation (Home / Profile / Products / Projects / Blog / Contact)
  • Profile page has a TOC so you can jump straight to the section you care about
  • All text managed in src/i18n/ja.ts for multilingual support — no hardcoding
  • Minimal client-side JS (Astro’s zero-JS default does the heavy lifting)

The goal isn’t to pack in information. It’s to help you find what you actually came for, fast, without getting lost.

Technical Stack

As an engineer, I built this site with a bit of technical intent:

  • Astro v6 — Zero-JS static site generation. Performance first.
  • GitHub Pages — Free hosting at zero cost.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — Cookie-free analytics.
  • Formspree — Cookie-free contact form.
  • SEO Optimization — sitemap / OGP / JSON-LD / RSS / Google Search Console.
  • AI-Driven Development — The entire site, built with Claude Code.

In Closing

So — this homepage is a single place where the achievements, philosophy, and products that used to be scattered finally sit together.

If you have questions or feedback, the contact form is always open. I’d genuinely love to hear what brought you here.

Thank you for visiting.
